 The Piedmont Triad International airport currently has two runways and a third runway is being built. The PTIA has a North and South terminal that services 25 passenger gates. The north concourse has been renovated recently, making it nearly the same size as the larger south concourse. In addition to these renovations, the Greensboro airport added another point where TSA screeners can check
 bags. This helps to expedite passengers checking bags with a checkpoint now being located at each end of the main terminal.
